Please find a copy of the FAMILY HANDBOOK that we issue to all new families. Our handbook goes a long way to explain the policies and procedures of St Simons OSHC. Please familiarise yourself with the manual and if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
All new families are asked to contact the coordinator prior to their children’s first attendance to arrange a get to know each other session, particularly if your child has an additional special need and requires increased supervision. We find this extremely useful as families get to know the staff and Centre philosophies and staff get to know the family. It is also an ideal opportunity to have any remaining queries answered. If you have not yet arranged please contact the coordinator via email.
I wish to draw your attention to the following:
· Annual Enrolment Fee: an annual enrolment fee (non-refundable) is charged on all enrolments and needs to be submitted with your enrolment forms. See fee schedule.
· Fees are billed fortnightly and automated via our software partners ‘Xplor’. When created an account with Xplor all of your details will be in the one place and you will be able to sign up to the auto-debit system.
· St Simons OSHC is a licensed centre and is bound by the regulations implemented recently in Victoria. Please ensure that the enrolment forms are completed to the best of your knowledge and supply additional information as required. Please note we will not be able to accept children into our care without properly completed forms.
· We are obliged to keep a fully and properly completed medical record for each child in our care, including their immunization status. An immunization statement can be obtained by visiting www.medicareaustralia.gov.au, calling 1800 653 809 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org for one. If your child has any special needs, medical conditions or allergies/anaphylaxis/asthma, PLEASE SUPPLY A CURRENT MANAGEMENT / ACTION PLAN SIGNED BY YOUR CHILD’S DOCTOR for that condition. Regulations prevent us from accepting them into our care without a current action plan.
Hope that this is of help to you and looking forward to being of service to you and your family.
