Our Catholic Identity
The parish of Saint Simon the Apostle incorporating the school, is a united community that celebrates and lives in Christ.
We:
-
Welcome all and create a true sense of belonging through active participation in Parish and School Life.
-
Grow together in Faith through ongoing formation, prayer and shared reflection.
-
Come together to celebrate life in meaningful Liturgies that respect our tradition, give meaning to our present and energise us for mission in today's world.
-
Witness to the Good News of God’s love by reaching out to all through care and compassion with a specific focus on the most vulnerable within our community.
St Simon the Apostle Catholic Primary School currently has an enrolment of 570 students from mixed nationalities. Our school is richer as a result of the many cultures our students bring to our community. Together at St Simon's, teachers, students and parents develop greater confidence as we share and discuss our growing knowledge and understanding of Hebrew and Christian texts. At St Simon's we seek to embrace the strong messages and principals of the Catholic Social Justice Teachings within our Inquiry Learning Units of work.
